By using Stroom, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Outdoor and water safety
Stroom provides community observations and estimates only. A source may be dry, inaccessible, contaminated or incorrectly mapped. Never rely on Stroom as your only water plan. Check current conditions, carry sufficient water, respect closures and private property, and treat natural water appropriately.
Your account and content
You are responsible for your account and for content you submit. Submit only content you have the right to use and do not falsify a photo, date, location or rating. You retain ownership of your content and grant Stroom a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process, display and distribute it only as needed to operate and promote the service.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape or mass-download source data, bypass access controls or rate limits, harass users, upload unlawful or harmful material, manipulate leaderboards, reverse engineer protected services, or use Stroom to facilitate trespass. We may remove content or suspend accounts to protect users and the service.
Maps, routes and potential sources
Routes, trail geometry, territory boundaries, elevations and potential-source suggestions may be incomplete or inaccurate. A mapped line is not permission to enter land and does not establish that a route is safe or legally accessible.
Premium subscriptions
Premium offers route building, GPX import and water-availability predictions. When a valid referral is claimed before an invited person's first report, both people receive seven days of complimentary Premium after that report is published. A later eligible referral can restart an inviter's seven-day period, but overlapping periods do not add together. Store trials and subscriptions remain subject to the terms shown by Apple or Google. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through the applicable store before renewal.
Changes and termination
Features may change as the service develops. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or violation of these terms. You may stop using Stroom or request account deletion at any time.
Disclaimer and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Stroom is provided “as is” without guarantees of availability, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
